OnFebruary 7th and 8th, The Dover Sherborn Education Fund conducted its annual Phonathon. The results were amazing.
Once again, the parents of the Dover and Sherborn communities demonstrated their unparalleled commitment to educational excellence through the funding of educator driven enrichment opportunities. Our deepest thanks and gratitude to all of our donors: past, present and future.
The local and regional school systems will soon begin the grant process whereby educators from each school will submit proposals to support a variety of enrichment programs. These programs will serve to further enhance the learning experiences of our children in areas such as arts, athletics, technology and cultural enrichment.
Since its inception, DSEF has raised over $3 million and is proud to be able to support the wide variety of grants that our educators bring forth to enhance the academic curriculum in the Dover Sherborn Regional Schools. Our funding goes beyond the scope of each school’s tax supported budget to provide a variety of extraordinary opportunities for the children.
All of this would not have been possible without the support of those who pledged during the Phonathon or supported the Annual Fall Gala. On behalf of the 2010 – 2011 DSEF Board, we thank those who have chosen to make a difference.
